Matchbox Spreads 'Disease'

"Disease," a track co-written by singer Rob Thomas and the Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger, has been tapped as the first radio single from matchbox twenty's new Atlantic album, "More Than You Think You Are." The song will be sent Sept. 30 to U.S. radio outlets for airplay consideration. Although the two artists worked together on the song, Jagger does not appear on the recording.

As previously reported, "More Than You Think You Are" is due Nov. 19. No other track titles have been released for the Matt Serletic-produced set, which was recorded at Bearsville Studios in Woodstock, N.Y., and the Hit Factory in New York.

Thomas and Jagger previously collaborated on songs when the Stones frontman was preparing his latest solo album, "Goddess in the Doorway." Their track "Visions of Paradise," co-written with producer Matt Clifford, opens the set, which debuted last December at No. 39 on The Billboard 200.
