Matchbox Twenty Back For More

Matchbox Twenty will release More Than You Think You Are, their third album, on November 19th. As with the band's previous two releases, 2000's Mad Season and 1996's Yourself or Someone Like You, the record was produced by Matt Serletic.

While the track listing for the album has not been finalized, it will include a collaboration with Mick Jagger. Returning a favor to Matchbox frontman Rob Thomas -- who co-wrote and contributed vocals to "Visions of Paradise" from Jagger's recent solo album, Goddess in the Doorway -- Jagger sings on the band's "Disease."

Even after co-writing and singing the smash hit "Smooth" for Santana, Thomas was not above being star-struck in the presence of the Rolling Stones singer. "I was just a nervous kid in a room with Mick Jagger trying not to look like an idiot and I still looked like an idiot," he told Rolling Stone. "But at least we got a good song out of it."

Thomas also wrote three songs for Carlos Santana's upcoming record, Shaman, which is due October 22nd.
